Sailing the Hawaiian Islands

Our nine-day Southern Italy and Rome tour with Travel World was an absolute dream from start to finish. Every detail from the airfare and motor coach transportation to the hotel stays and guided tour was perfectly organized, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the beauty of Italy.

We stayed at the Lloyd’s Baia Hotel, which offered breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, including an active port. The hotel was perched along the Amalfi Coast near the picturesque town of Vietri sul Mare, known for its vibrant ceramics, delicious restaurants, and friendly locals. Everything was within walking distance, and the atmosphere authentically Italian relaxed, colorful, and welcoming.

Our Amalfi Coast excursions were unforgettable. Travel World arranged visits to Salerno, Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, and even the island of Capri, where we arrived by hydrofoil and/or ferry. Each stop had its own unique beauty, and the local tour guides, arranged by Travel World, were outstanding knowledgeable, engaging, and eager to share the history and charm of each destination. All ticketing and breakfast was included with the trip. Several dinners were also included with the trip.

One of the most memorable parts of our southern Italy stay was seeing Mount Vesuvius and touring the incredible ruins of Pompeii. Walking through such a historic site with an expert guide made the experience even more meaningful.

After our time on the coast, we traveled by modern motorcoach to Rome, where the adventure continued. Our hotel stay was in the city at the Best Western Universo. The hotel was centrally located and within walking distance too many of the major historical sites and near the train station. While in Rome, we toured the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, the Roman Forum, the pantheon and walked through Vatican Square. Each site more breathtaking than the last. The local guides in Rome provided fascinating insights that brought the city’s ancient history to life.

Every part of this journey was beautifully planned and executed by Travel World. Matt and his wife Jen, the owners, were incredible, thoughtful, professional, and clearly passionate about creating memorable experiences for their guests.

This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip for my family; we can’t thank Travel World enough for making it all possible. We would absolutely travel with them again and highly recommend them to anyone dreaming of exploring Italy the right way — comfortably, stress-free, and in great company!
