Depart Wilkes Barre & Scranton via motorcoach for the Newark Int’l Airport for a non-stop Flight to Dublin, Ireland.
Arrival-Blarney Castle-Killarney
After landing at Dublin Airport, complete customs & immigration formalities. Your CIE Tours driver/guide will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach. Breakfast stop at Treacy’s Bar & Restaurant for an Irish Breakfast. Continue to Blarney, where you can visit Blarney Castle, built almost 600 years ago by Ireland’s greatest chieftains. Climb the steps of the Castle & Kiss the famous “Stone of Eloquence”. Legend says that anyone who kisses the Blarney Stone will receive the gift of gab! Also visit the Blarney Woolen Mills and shop for Irish gifts, wool and Aran sweaters, celtic jewelry and more all direct from Ireland. Departing Blarney, take in the stunning panoramic views as you travel through the charming villages and rolling hills into Killarney, overlooking the Lakes & Mountains. Check into our hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner with your fellow travelers with evening. (B, D)
Dingle Peninsula Drive
Irish Breakfast. Discover the beauties of the Dingle Peninsula on this circular route that forms part of the Wild Atlantic Way. It was once described by the National Geographic as “the most beautiful place on earth.” Drive along the south shore of the peninsula for plenty of vistas
of mountains, sandy beaches, and stunning green landscapes. Stops at strategic locations will be made for photos. Enjoy free time in Dingle. We stop at Foley’s Bar and on our way back to Killarney with our group. Free late afternoon and evening. (B)
Cliffs of Moher & Durty Nelly’s Pub
Irish Breakfast. Take the Tarbert Ferry for a short ferry ride across the River Shannon. Drive along the scenic coast of County Clare to visit the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most beloved, natural landmarks. See magical vistas, overlooking the shimmering Atlantic Ocean along with Ireland’s Western coastline. We visit Durty Nelly’s Pub which stands in
the shadow of Bunratty Castle and enjoy a drink. Return to Killarney this afternoon and enjoy a dinner at our hotel restaurant with our group. (B, D)
Killarney at Leisure
Irish Breakfast. Spend the morning and afternoon completely at leisure to shop and sightsee independently in Killarney. We will offer an optional Jaunting Car Tour for the group. You may also want to visit St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral. Stop at a local Pub for a pint! Tonight we travel to Kate Kearney’s Irish Cottage, which is situated at the Gap of Dunloe. Your Irish night will consist of a superb meal and traditional Irish entertainment. (B, D)
Travel Killarney to Dublin
Irish Breakfast. Leaving Killarney, journey through Ireland’s rolling hills and lush greenery into Dublin. Enjoy a panoramic tour of Dublin. Dublin is one of the liveliest capitals in Europe as well as historical places. See O’Connell Street, Grafton Street and Nassau Streets. Check into our hotel. In the evening, join your fellow travelers for a wonderful farewell dinner in our hotel restaurant.
Homeward Bound
Irish Breakfast. Sadly our tour ends this morning after a wonderful visit to the “Emerald Isle”. Depart for the Dublin Airport. Fly non-stop from Dublin to Newark. Transfer back to Scranton & Wilkes Barre. Welcome Home!
