Arrival in Venice
Arrive at Venice Marco Polo Airport at 9:20 AM on UA 170.
Meet your tour manager and transfer to the Venice bus parking lot at Tronchetto. Your luggage will be loaded onto small boats and delivered directly to your hotel.
Continue by private boat via the Giudecca Canal to St. Mark’s Square.
Once off the boat you will follow your Tour Manager and enjoy a wonderful walk of Venice, bridge after bridge over each canal passing by endless gondolas and motorboats, to your hotel which is located by St. Marks Square.

After Lunch (on your own) you have the entire day free to get lost in Venice, the dream city built on water with its hundreds of canals, where you can enjoy fashionable shopping or take a gondola ride through the charming canals.

Venice to Montecatini Terme
Depart for the bus parking area and begin a scenic 3.5-hour drive south via Padova and Bologna, crossing the Apennine Mountains into Tuscany.
Stay for two nights at a 4-star hotel in the spa resort town of Montecatini Terme.
Enjoy a ride to the historic 128-year-old funicolare to Montecatini Alto on your own or explore the charming resort town
Take in superb views over Tuscany and enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants in the pedestrian-friendly Piazza.

Morning drive through the picturesque Tuscan countryside to Lucca, one of Italy’s “Città d’arte” (Art Towns), known for its well-preserved historic center.
Visit Piazza dell’Anfiteatro and the 45-meter tall Guinigi Tower, dating back to the 1300s. The entire city is encircled by massive walls.
Continue to the winery Fattoria il Poggio in Montecarlo for wine tasting and an authentic Tuscan lunch.
